Week 36

It’s time to go in for delivery if you have contraction cramps every 5 minutes for a couple of hours, or if your water breaks (painless liquid leakage). Don’t worry if it doesn’t come right at 9 months; the average pregnancy lasts for 38-40 weeks.

Get a Non-stress Test

Toward the end of pregnancy, a doctor will sometimes issue a non-stress test, which measures the baby’s heartbeat health.

Send Baby Shower Thank-yous

One more errand, but also one more chance to thank your support group for everything they’ve done over the past few months.

Get Extra Sleep

Sleep in as much as possible and enjoy uninterrupted sleep while you can.
